East Village Branch Closed on Saturdays Beginning April 5th

After a lengthy evaluation, we have decided that we will no longer open our East Village branch at 627 East Locust in Des Moines for business on Saturdays beginning April 5th, 2025. We continue to see increases in the usage of our online services, which has created a decline in our in-person transaction volume at this particular location. Seeing the number of customers utilizing our 24/7 banking services has been a good thing for everyone!

Iowa State Bank has three other Metro locations (Hubbell, SW 9th, and EP True) that will remain open on Saturdays for drive up services, hours unchanged, with the nearest branch to the East Village being located at 3818 Hubbell Ave in Des Moines. If you would like to meet with a banker for in-person account services on a Saturday, customers are able to do so by appointment.

As always, online & mobile banking are available to access anywhere, anytime, in addition to 24/7 ATM services.
