Donation Requests

Iowa State Bank is a locally owned bank, built on a foundation of giving back to the communities we serve that have helped us achieve success. We are proud to support non-profit (501c3) organizations that seek to benefit our area and the people that live here. Our giving priorities include organizations that work to improve the general quality of life in our community including:

Financial Education
Economic Development
Affordable Housing & Home Buyer Education
Arts & Culture

We often give preferential consideration to those organizations that maintain banking relationships with Iowa State Bank and whose main purpose is to benefit low and moderate-income individuals in the greater Des Moines area. We also prioritize the charitable interests of our employees.

We would like to support every worthy cause but unfortunately funds are limited. Submitting a request does not guarantee we will be able to support your cause. Because Iowa State Bank seeks to provide a fair and unbiased evaluation of each application, any request that is incomplete when submitted will be automatically denied.

We generally don't support requests for the following organizations:

Requests that benefit an individual, family, or athletic team
Individual K-12 Schools including PTAs/ PTOs
Medical or Health Initiatives (Heart Disease, Cancer Research, etc.)
Religious and Denominational Institutions
Organizations outside the Des Moines Metro Area

If you are interested in submitting a donation or sponsorship request, please fill out the form below. Our committee meets regularly and a representative will be in touch once we've had the chance to discuss. Deadline to submit a request must be at least 2 months prior to the date funds are needed. Thank you for your interest and dedication to improving our local community.
