Protecting your privacy is important to Iowa State Bank and our employees. We want you to understand what information we collect and how we use it.

The following policy serves as a standard for all Iowa State Bank employees for collection, use, retention, and security of your information
What Information We Collect
We may collect your information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other loan and account forms
- Information about your transactions with us and others; and
- Information we receive from third parties such as credit bureaus
What Information We Disclose
We are permitted under law to disclose your information to other third parties in connection with the administration, processiong, and servicing of an account or transaction. For example, we may disclose your information to third parties to assist us in servicing your loan or account with us, to government entities in response to subpoenas, and to credit bureaus. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law.
If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.
We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to the financial institutions with whom we have a joint marketing agreement.
Opt-Out Option
We do not offer an opt-out option. The Bank does not share your information where an opt-out option would apply.
Our Security Procedures
We also take steps to safeguard customer information. We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Employees who violate these standards will be subject to disciplinary measures. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your information.
Glossary
Credit Bureau - is a company that provides information regarding a consumer's credit worthiness, credit standing, credit capacity, general reputation, etc.
Opt-Out Option - an opt-out option allows you the opportunity to prevent the Bank from sharing information about you.
Third Parties - means any company that is not an affiliate of the Bank that we may disclose. Some examples of when we would share your information are: (1) to process check order, (2) to produce deposit statements, (3) to make a loan, (4) ATM Networks, (5) Bill payment processors, (6) credit reporting agencies, (7) securities broker-dealers, (8) insurance companies.
Your Information - non-public information we obtain from you in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. For Example, information regarding your account balance, payment history, and overdraft history.
